Cultivating Greater Well-Being in Theological Institutions
DESCRIPTION: Prepared for the 2025 ATS Student Data and Resources Consultation, this presentation by Karen H. Webster (Healthy Seminarians – Healthy Church) addresses well-being in theological institutions through the lens of pastoral and student health. Slides summarize prior research and report on survey findings indicating strong support for addressing personal health within theological education. Key topics include the perceived importance of pastoral health, types of support schools currently provide, and health-related activities students would like their seminaries to offer.
